报告题目：Physical Layer Security: Towards Practical Performance Measures and CSI Assumptions

报告摘要：

Over 15 years of active research in physical layer security within the communities of wireless communications and information theory has made significant theoretical breakthroughs in this emerging paradigm for communication security. With more attention paid to the potential of physical layer security towards practical implementation, researchers have started questioning the practical implications of the commonly-used secrecy metrics and system assumptions. After a brief introduction on the fundamentals of physical layer security, this talk will focus on the existing secrecy metrics and discuss their limitations. Then, we look at a couple of newly developed secrecy metrics which allow further insights towards practical designs. We will also discuss the role of channel state information (CSI) in analyzing and designing physical layer security. Recent results with practical CSI assumptions will be presented.
